Indian rapper Badshah is set to step onto one of basketball’s biggest global stages when he participates in the 2026 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, scheduled to be held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on February 13.
With this appearance, Badshah becomes the first Indian rapper to feature in the fan-favourite Celebrity Game, a marquee event that forms part of the NBA All-Star Weekend and draws global attention for its mix of sport, pop culture and entertainment.
Organisers said Badshah will join a high-profile roster featuring celebrities from music, film, television and professional sports.
The line-up includes actor-comedian Keegan-Michael Key, DJ and producer Mustard, rapper GloRilla, former NBA All-Star Jeremy Lin, NFL Pro Bowler Keenan Allen, ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, and several prominent reality TV personalities.

Expressing his excitement, Badshah said basketball has long been one of his passions and described the opportunity to play during NBA All-Star Weekend as a major honour.
He noted that the NBA represents a powerful blend of sport, culture and self-expression, adding that he is proud to represent Indian hip hop on a global platform as the league’s fan base continues to grow in India.
Known for chart-topping tracks such as Jugnu, Kar Gayi Chull and Garmi, Badshah’s debut at the Celebrity Game is expected to bring his trademark energy both on and off the court, adding to the entertainment value of one of the NBA’s most-watched showcase events.
