Guwahati: Chetna Ladies Club, Guwahati, in collaboration with Jaipur Foot, organised a special Caliper Camp, providing mobility support to seven differently-abled individuals.
The beneficiaries were fitted with calipers, giving them the opportunity to walk independently and boosting their confidence and quality of life.
The camp also included the distribution of food packets and juice to the patients and their families, reflecting the organisers’ holistic approach to care—offering not just medical assistance but also emotional support.
The event was held under the leadership of Club President Mamta Harlalka, Secretary Sweta Somani, and Treasurer Meena Mohr, with active involvement from all members of the club.
Volunteers worked hands-on throughout the camp, assisting recipients and ensuring the event ran smoothly.
Several heartwarming moments marked the day, as smiles and tears of gratitude from the beneficiaries and their families highlighted the deep emotional impact of the initiative.
