Agartala: The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) on Thursday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, to mentor and scale up women entrepreneurs in the state, with the goal of helping them become “millionaire” and “crorepati didis.”

In a post on its Facebook page, TRLM described the agreement as a historic step, stating that a Rs 10.60 crore project will be implemented over a three-year period in collaboration with IIM Kolkata, to help women entrepreneurs scale up their businesses and achieve higher income levels.
The mission further stated that the project is expected to create a replicable model for other states under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), promoting sustainable and women-led economic growth.
