GUWAHATI: The Indian Army has initiated Phase II of the Agniveer recruitment process, marking a significant step forward in its efforts to streamline and enhance the selection procedures for aspiring candidates.

The upcoming recruitment rally for Central Districts of Assam, specifically Sonitpur, Biswanath, Nagaon, and Morigaon, will be held at the Missamari Military Station.

The rally is scheduled to take place from July 23 to July 27.

Candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards from the official Indian Army website.

The Indian Army highlights that the recruitment rally is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, and cautions all candidates against approaching any kind of tout or middleman.

This phase is part of a broader transformation aimed at ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.

In the new recruitment system, Phase I involved an online common entrance exam conducted nationwide in April-May 2024.

The results for the shortlisted candidates have been published on the official website of the Indian Army, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Candidates who have been shortlisted and have queries or have not received their admit cards are instructed to contact the Recruiting Office (Headquarters) in Shillong for assistance.

This phase of recruitment under the Agniveer initiative highlights the Indian Army’s commitment to modernise its recruitment processes and ensuring equal opportunities for all eligible candidates across the nation.

For any inquiries or assistance regarding the recruitment process, candidates can contact the Recruiting Office (Headquarters) in Shillong at NIC mail ID run.fun@ninc.in or by phone at 0364-2504177.
