GUWAHATI: The stage is set for the third edition of the Human Resource (HR) Conclave, a prestigious event in the Northeast that promises to assemble some of the brightest minds in the field of human resources from across the country.

Scheduled to begin tomorrow at Taj Vivanta, Guwahati, this national-level conclave is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever, offering a platform for seminars, discussions, and keynote speeches by a distinguished lineup of participants.

Among the luminaries gracing the event are Sahil Nayyar, Senior Associate Director at KPMG, Dr KM Suceendran, Head of Academic Alliances at Tata Consultancy Services, Rituraj Sar, Vice President and Head of Learning & Development at Lupin Limited, Pooja Makasana, HR Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Sun Pharma, and Durlabh Saikia, Plant HR Head at Emami Limited, to name just a few.

The HR Conclave will host these experts as they share their insights in two panel discussions on critical topics.

The first discussion, “Talent Acquisition and Retention: Campus Hiring, Employer Branding, and Innovative Recruitment Techniques,” will delve into strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.

The second discussion, “Engaging with Educational Institutes: Establishing Strong Partnerships with Universities and Tapping Talent Pools Effectively,” will explore the vital connection between HR and academia.

Building on the success of its previous editions, the HR Conclave will once again present the HR Excellence Award to recognise outstanding contributions to the field of human resources in India.

This year’s HR Excellence Award features two unique categories to acknowledge excellence in the industry.

The first category, “HR Leader,” celebrates dynamic professionals who have showcased exceptional potential, creativity, and dedication in the pan-India HR industry.

Their contributions have played a pivotal role in shaping the HR landscape in the country.

The second category, “HR Rising Star of Northeast”, shines a spotlight on young professionals who have made significant contributions to the field of HR and have worked to improve human resources-related practices in the Northeast.

An esteemed panel of judges will evaluate the contenders for these awards, including Prabahab Boruah, HR Operations Head – North East at Dalmia Cement, Durlabh Saikia, Plant HR Head at Emami Limited, and Pubali Borthakur, Head of People & Delivery (Arnea) at Infosys.

These experts will play a crucial role in recognising and celebrating the best in the HR industry from a pool of outstanding nominees.

The HR Conclave 2023 promises to be an enlightening event that not only facilitates knowledge exchange among HR professionals but also acknowledges the remarkable contributions of individuals who are shaping the future of human resource management in India.
