GUWAHATI: Bhattadev University and Assam down town University (AdtU), Guwahati, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in academia and research endeavours.
The MoU includes various domains such as faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative research initiatives, internship and training opportunities for students, joint consultancy, and project implementation.
The signing ceremony took place at the premises of Assam down town University on May 14, with Prof. Birinchi Kumar Das, Vice Chancellor of Bhattadev University, Bajali, and Prof. Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice Chancellor of Assam down town University, as the signatories.
The event was organised by the Faculty of Science, AdtU, Guwahati, and was graced by distinguished guests including Prof. Pranveer Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of AdtU, and Dr Subhash Chandra Das, Registrar of Bhattadev University.
Dr Akshay Kumar Haloi, Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology at Bhattadev University, will serve as the Nodal Officer for implementing the MoU, ensuring effective coordination between the two institutions.
Both university Vice Chancellors are pleased with the initiative and are committed to promoting regional growth through academic excellence and collaboration.
Bhattadev University, a public state university, was established by upgrading Bajali College.
