Itanagar: The Indian Army’s Spearhead Division under Spear Corps has inaugurated a Sarva Dharma Sthal at Migging Transit Camp in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Siang district as part of the Bharat Rann Bhoomi initiative, aimed at promoting battlefield tourism, communal harmony and stronger civil–military relations in border areas.
The initiative seeks to foster mutual respect, confidence-building and cooperation between security forces and the local community, while highlighting the historical and strategic significance of border regions.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the civil administration, local governance, security forces and community institutions, including the zilla parishad member, the Migging sarpanch, fathers from the Migging church, GREF, ITBP, and other civil and defence workers.
The event underscored the state’s longstanding values of unity, peaceful coexistence and respect for all faiths.

The Sarva Dharma Sthal will serve as a common spiritual space for all, symbolising unity in diversity and strengthening civil-military cooperation in this remote border region.
