The Assam government on Monday carried out a major reshuffle in the state police administration, transferring and posting several IPS and APS officers across key field and battalion-level positions in the state.
The transfers include postings at district, battalion and specialized units, with officers being assigned to roles such as Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ), sub-divisional police officer, and Assistant Commandant across the state.
