Shillong: Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is all set to perform a sold-out show in Meghalaya’s Shillong on Tuesday.
The concert will take music aficionados and fans on a musical journey today evening through the legendary rock singer’s classic hits like “Summer of ’69,” “Everything I Do (I Do It For You),” and “Run to You.”
“International Singer-Songwriter Bryan Adams has landed straight in the heart of Shillong and is ready to enchant his fans in our city tomorrow,” the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s office wrote on X.
With the concert tickets entirely sold out, Shillong is eagerly anticipating the performance of the celebrated 65-year-old Canadian rock singer. Tickets were available on Zomato Live starting August 7.
Adams will captivate thousands of his fans and music lovers with his distinctive voice and timeless hits.
In addition to these timeless songs, audiences will also get to hear tracks from his Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “So Happy It Hurts”.
The weeklong tour will be followed by concerts in Gurugram, Mumbai and Bengaluru before concluding on December 16 in Hyderabad.
The multi-city India tour is an extension of the singer’s global tour (USA, UK, Europe, Canada).
This marks the singer’s sixth visit to India after his 1993-1994 tour, followed by multi-city gigs in 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2018.

Adams has been a part of the music industry for over four decades and enjoys a global fan base. With a catalog of 17 studio albums, his most recent songs have been the peace song “What If There Were No Sides At All” and two songs from the comedy film “Office Race”.
Shillong will surely feel the heat of “Summer of ’69” on a cold December night.
