RUPA: The Motor Cycle Rider Display Team (MCRDT) of the Corps of Signals, famously known as the “Dare Devils”, recently left the audience spellbound with their breathtaking performance at the Gyaptong Regional Stadium in Rupa.
The event, organised for the troops of Gajraj Corps, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of locals who were captivated by the team’s awe-inspiring stunts.
The display was graced by senior officers from the Indian Army, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), and the Civil Administration.
Among the distinguished guests were Lobsang Tsetan, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rupa, and Pawan Kumar Yadav, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Rupa.
The Dare Devils are renowned for their remarkable display of self-determination, mental alertness, unmatched courage, physical stamina, and precision in motorcycle handling.
Their impeccably timed stunts kept the audience on the edge of their seats, with hearts racing as they witnessed daring feats unfold before their eyes.
The team also wowed spectators with their famous human formations on motorcycles, further adding to the spectacle.
Internationally acclaimed for their prowess, the Dare Devils have set and broken 31 world records, which have been duly recognised in prestigious publications such as the Guinness, Limca, Asia, and India Book of Records.
The event marked their third performance in Arunachal Pradesh, with the previous one also held at the same stadium in 2017.
The adrenaline-fueled performance received resounding praise from the locals of Rupa and the Tenga Valley, inspiring many to contemplate joining the Indian Army to experience life on the edge.
The event not only entertained but also served as a source of inspiration for the youth, showcasing the bravery and skill of the Indian Army’s finest.
