New Delhi: In an effort to prioritise students’ mental health following the announcement of Class 10 and 12 board results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a 15-day psychosocial counselling initiative.
The free service, which began on May 13, will continue until May 28, 2025, offering vital emotional support during a crucial transition period for students.
The move comes after CBSE declared results for more than 37 lakh students. This year, the board recorded a 93.66% pass rate for Class 10 and 88.39% for Class 12.
Students can access their digital mark sheets using their roll number, admit card ID, school code, and date of birth.
Acknowledging the stress students often experience after exam results—especially with national-level entrance exams like CUET, JEE, and NEET approaching—CBSE has set up a range of support services to help students and parents cope with anxiety, academic pressure, and emotional fatigue.
The helpline offers access to expert guidance through phone-based counselling, supported by a team of 65 trained professionals, including principals, counsellors, and special educators from CBSE-affiliated schools across India and abroad.

In addition to live counselling during the day, students can access automated IVRS responses round-the-clock for tips on stress and time management.
To further extend its outreach, CBSE has made additional mental health resources available online through its official website and YouTube channel.
These include podcasts and video content focused on emotional resilience, exam-related stress, and self-care strategies.
