Agartala: The Tripura government has geared up to host the 2-day ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2025′ on February 7 in Agartala.
State Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma said the event is expected to lead to the signing of MoUs worth Rs 600 crore with various investors.
The ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2025’ has been planned to draw in investors and boost the state’s industrial development, with 150 investors from various sectors slated to attend.
Chakma said with the theme “Destination Tripura: The Land of Opportunity”, the conclave will focus on sectors such as health, IT, food processing, education, tourism, rubber, bamboo, and agar.
“Our goal is to strengthen communication with investors and showcase the state’s abundant resources,” Chakma explained.
She announced that the state’s annual Industries and Commerce Fair will be held at the International Fair Ground in Hapania, Agartala, from January 29 to February 12.

“We conducted three review meetings to ensure the success of this year’s fair. Special emphasis is being given to local traders and businesses,” she said.
“Altogether, 269 participants showcased their products last year, but this year, the number has increased to 337. In line with our vision of ‘Ek Tripura Shrestha Tripura,’ supporting local entrepreneurs is a priority,” Chakma added.
