KOLKATA: The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is set to rival the world’s top automotive exhibitions, with over 1,500 exhibitors and numerous vehicle unveilings expected, according to the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India, a key coordinating agency for the event.
Scheduled from January 17 to 22, 2025, the second edition of the expo will expand significantly, doubling its exhibition space to 200,000 square meters.
EEPC Vice Chairman Aakash Shah expressed optimism about the expo’s growth, stating, “We are now on par with 200,000 square meters of exhibition space, just shy of the 200 exhibitors featured in the IAA Hannover show. With continued momentum, the Bharat Mobility Expo is poised to become the world’s largest mobility show, aligning with the Commerce Ministry’s vision.”
The expo is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors and consolidate nine trade shows within the mobility ecosystem under one umbrella.
For the first time, cycles will have a dedicated presence, showcasing their integral role in sustainable mobility.
The event will host over 34 prominent vehicle manufacturers unveiling new electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel-powered models.
Key players such as Ather Energy, Ola Electric, Vayve Mobility, Eka Mobility, and Vietnam’s VinFast will showcase cutting-edge electric vehicles, driving forward India’s green mobility revolution.
Additionally, over 800 auto component manufacturers and 1,000 brands from 13 global markets will exhibit innovative products and services for OEMs and the aftermarket.
Dedicated country pavilions from Germany, the UK, South Korea, and Japan, alongside participation from nations such as the US, Spain, UAE, China, Russia, Italy, and Singapore, will underscore the event’s global appeal.
Despite ongoing visa challenges, some Chinese companies operating in India are also expected to participate, though numbers remain below pre-COVID levels.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will host the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 across three prominent venues: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.
With its ambitious scale and diverse participation, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 promises to establish India as a global hub for automotive innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
