GUWAHATI: In a tribute to the power of youthful innovation, Kishan Bagaria, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Assam’s Dibrugarh, has emerged as a trailblazer in the tech industry, driving society forward with his groundbreaking innovations.
His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found texts.com, an AI-driven platform that integrates messaging apps like WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Telegram into a unified dashboard.
This innovation not only simplifies message management but also prioritises user privacy by enabling discreet message viewing.
texts.com quickly gained traction through word of mouth and caught the attention of industry giants.
Among them was Matt Mullenweg, the owner of WordPress and Tumblr, who recognised the platform’s potential and acquired it for a substantial $50 million.
Impressed by Kishan’s ingenuity, Mullenweg hailed him as a “generational tech genius”.
Kishan’s journey began in his hometown of Dibrugarh at the age of 12, where he nurtured his passion for technology from a young age.
Self-taught and driven by curiosity, Kishan developed his skills through online resources, paving his way into the tech world without formal education in expensive universities.
His passion and enthusiasm for technology propelled him from his hometown in Assam to become a success story in Silicon Valley.
His achievement has drawn support from prominent figures in the tech industry, including backers from Vercel, Superhuman, Stripe, Coinbase, Twitter, Facebook, and Snap.
Despite the acquisition by Mullenweg, Kishan, today, remains actively involved in texts.com as Head of Messaging, continuing to innovate and expand the platform’s capabilities.
Recently relocated to the USA, Kishan plans to further develop texts.com under the banner of Automattic, WordPress’s parent company.
