GUWAHATI: In a move to support its customers in cyclone Remal-affected areas of the Northeast, Airtel has extended the validity of prepaid services by four days in the region.
This initiative targets customers in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, and Meghalaya, where the severe cyclonic impact has disrupted daily life and made recharging on-ground difficult.

To further aid connectivity, Airtel has activated Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) in these states, allowing customers to stay connected even if their home network is down.
This measure is crucial in ensuring that every customer can use their mobile phone during this period of distress.
Airtel’s network teams are diligently working around the clock to assess the situation and restore connectivity in the severely affected areas.
Despite the challenging conditions, they are taking all necessary measures to bring back normalcy to the communication networks in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, and Meghalaya.
