This year, 12 formidable teams are participating in the championship, with a noteworthy twist being the introduction of floodlit matches.
The night games will take place at key venues such as Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Naharlagun), Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy (Itanagar), and the NERIST football ground (Nirjuli).
The organisers, Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA), had previously announced that tickets for the matches will be available online, ensuring a seamless experience for fans.
The Santosh trophy, a symbol of tradition and continuity, dates back to 1941 when the first-ever football tournament took place.
Interestingly, the trophy has remained unchanged, carrying the legacy of champions throughout the years.
