Guwahati: Jintimoni Kalita, a passionate cricketer from Mangaldoi, has been selected to represent the India Under 19 Women T20 team at the Quadrangular series to be held in Vizag.
The U-19 Quadrangular series feature India A, India B, West Indies, and Sri Lanka and will be played from November 13 to 19 in Vizag.
“I am excited to be part of Team India,” Jintimoni Kalita told Northeast News on Wednesday.
Jintimoni is the first women cricketer from Mangaldoi to be part of the Women Under 19 team. She will represent India A.
The young cricketer from Mangaldoi is an all-rounder, and has been performing well with both the bat and ball.
