The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, with Aditya Srivastava securing the top position.
Srivastava clinched the All India Rank 1 in the UPSC CSE 2024, followed by Animesh Pradhan securing the second rank, and Donuru Ananya Reddy securing the third spot.
From Assam, four candidates, namely Abhigyan Bora (Rank 172), Riki Lahkar Pradhan (Rank 230), Bhashwat Saikia (Rank 552) and Kalol Hazarika (Rank 992), have made the state proud.
A total of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment, with the UPSC releasing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.
However, the candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
Among the recommended candidates, a total of 347 belong to the general category, 116 to the EWS category, 303 to the OBC category, 165 to the SC category, and 86 to the ST category.
The UPSC CSE main exam was conducted in subjective mode over two shifts from September 15 to September 24.
Each shift lasted three hours, with sessions held in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm and in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates who successfully cleared the mains examination proceeded to the personality test, commonly referred to as the interview round.
This phase took place from January 2 to 9 of the current year, conducted in three phases.

The process involves navigating to the result link on the home page, opening a new tab in the form of a PDF, searching for the roll number in the PDF, and downloading the PDF for future reference.
