New Delhi: Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, wanted in multiple high-profile criminal cases including the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, was brought to Delhi on Wednesday after being “removed” from the United States.
He was taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) upon landing, officials said.
Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is expected to be produced before a special court soon.
He is also an accused in the firing outside actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence in April 2024 and in the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
US authorities had detained him in November last year before facilitating his removal from the country on Tuesday.

Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister, was shot dead on October 12, 2024, outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra.
Mumbai Police have arrested at least 26 alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the killing and invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the case.
Anmol Bishnoi, along with Shubham Lonkar and Zishan Mohammed Akhtar, had been named as wanted accused in the Siddique murder probe.
