Kohima: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram is on a three-day visit to Nagaland to assess the state’s ongoing developmental projects.
The Union Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland State unit upon his arrival at Dimapur Airport on Sunday.
During his three-day visit to the Northeastern state, the Tribal Affairs Minister will interact with local authorities and party members.
As part of his itinerary, Oram will visit various developmental sites and hold a review meeting with the local administration in Zunheboto on October 14.
The meeting is expected to focus on ongoing initiatives in the region, with particular attention to tribal welfare and infrastructure development.
Later in the evening, he will engage in discussions with BJP Nagaland Party officials and karyakartas, reflecting the party’s efforts to strengthen its presence and outreach in the state.

The union minister on Monday called on Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rion at his residence and discussed areas of collaboration between the state government and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Besides, the union minister will also chair a ‘State Level Review Meeting’ at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Dimapur on October 15.
