GUWAHATI: The bodies of two youths from Assam were discovered under suspicious conditions in Nagaland’s Mon district on the morning of September 25. Both were found in a partially undressed state, bearing clear signs of injury, fuelling speculations of a foul play.
The deceased have been identified as Lalit Nowholia and Utpal Tassa, both residents of Sonari in Assam. According to the local press, they had travelled to Nagaland on September 22 and were scheduled to return the next day. However, they mysteriously disappeared, raising alarms among their families and friends.
