Kohima: Bhikharam Chandmal Northeast has announced that it will present “Ticket to Hornbill – India’s Biggest Band Battle 2025” as part of the run-up to the famed Hornbill Music Festival.

The event will be held in Nagaland’s Kohima from October 16 to 18, 2025.

To make this journey even more impactful, Street Smart Advertising has come on board as our Exclusive Sponsorship Partner, informed TaFMA chairman Theja Meru.

As part of this collaboration, Theja Meru, Chairman of the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, visited the agency’s Guwahati office on Friday and met with its founders.

“This partnership reflects our shared vision to celebrate culture, nurture creativity, and provide a powerful platform for young talent. Together, we hope to make Ticket to Hornbill 2025 an unforgettable journey leading into the Hornbill Music Festival,” said Theja Meru.

According to the organisers, the collaboration demonstrates a strong commitment to promoting culture, encouraging creativity, and forging meaningful partnerships at one of India’s most iconic cultural festivals.

We are excited to create an unforgettable edition of the Hornbill Festival together, he added.

The Ticket to Hornbill competition has, over the years, grown into a key stage for emerging artistes. The 2025 edition is expected to attract bands and audiences from across the country, building momentum for the Hornbill Music Festival.

The Hornbill Festival is a renowned cultural extravaganza held annually in Nagaland, Northeast India, from December 1st to 10th. Celebrated at the Kisama Naga Heritage Village, it showcases the rich heritage, traditions, art, music, dance, and cuisine of Nagaland’s various tribal groups, earning it the moniker “Festival of Festivals”.
