Amidst the pulsating beats and harmonies that echoed through the packed Agri Expo site, Chümoukedima, Kingston, known for hits such as Beautiful Girls, took a moment to share personal anecdotes.
The highlight was a special rendition of the song he had penned at the age of 17, presented as a heartfelt tribute to the Nagaland audience.
As Kingston belted out the chart-topping hit, the crowd joined in a harmonious chorus, creating an unforgettable moment of unity.
Organized by Elmer Ventures and Listen Proudly, the concert drew fans not only from Nagaland but also neighbouring states such as Manipur and Assam.

The concert also marked the birthday celebration of Kingston’s DJ, D-Nice, adding an extra layer of festivity to the already charged atmosphere.
The artiste, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, expressed his delight at being back in India, highlighting his eagerness to collaborate with “anything related to the country”.
The event featured opening acts by local talents such as Meyisanen Lemtur, DJ Sanaa, Moko Koza, DJ Ina, and Rapper Juztino x Savizo, who seamlessly blended their performances with Kingston’s dynamic set.
Supporting acts included Tyah Longkumer and Sinister Virgil, contributing to the diverse musical tapestry of the night.
With ticket prices ranging from Rs 1,500 for general passes to Rs 5,000 for fan pit access, the concert catered to a broad audience, offering a spectrum of experiences.
The VIP and VVIP passes added an extra touch of exclusivity, while food stalls in the VVIP area ensured a culinary treat for the attendees.
As the curtains fell on the Dimapur concert, fans eagerly await announcements about Kingston’s upcoming tour stops in other cities across the Northeast.
The artist, renowned for chart-toppers like Eenie Meenie and Take You There, had previously graced Indian stages in 2018, captivating audiences in New Delhi and Mumbai with his dynamic performances.
