Kohima: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday assured that it would prepare a comprehensive draft on the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) following the fourth round of tripartite talks with the Government of Nagaland and the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO).
The meeting, held at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima on September 9, was led by MHA Advisor (Northeast) A.K. Mishra, along with Rakesh Kamble, Joint Director of the Intelligence Bureau, and Vineet Kumar, IPS, Deputy Director of SIB Nagaland, Kohima.
The Nagaland government was represented by Chief Secretary Senti Yanger Imchen, Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie, Finance Commissioner Kesonyu Yhome, Law and Justice Principal Secretary Kikheto Sema, Special Secretary (Home) Limasunep, and other senior officials.

The ENPO delegation was headed by its president, Chingmak Chang.
During the three-hour deliberations, several pressing issues concerning Eastern Nagaland were discussed.
The session concluded with the MHA committing to place the draft on FNT “at the earliest,” which will pave the way for the next round of talks to be held by the High-Level Committee.
