Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Tuesday asserted that the state has earned the distinction of being the second least corrupt in the country, calling it a “milestone achievement.”
Speaking at the diamond jubilee celebration of the Mara Students’ Organisation (MSO), Lalduhoma also highlighted Mizoram’s growing reputation as one of the best-performing states in the Northeast in terms of tourism potential.
“According to a researcher, our state is the second least corrupt in the country. This is a milestone for Mizoram,” the chief minister said.
He said that the ZPM government has so far created 515 new jobs since its formation in December 2023 till August this year.
The chief minister said the government has so far approved 2,087 posts for direct or open recruitment and 532 others for limited departmental exams.
