Aizawl: In response to a reported rabies outbreak in the Churachandpur district of neighbouring Manipur, the administration of Saitual district in Mizoram has announced a complete ban on the importation of dogs.
The decision was officially made on Monday to safeguard public health and prevent the potential spread of the disease.
Saitual district, which shares a border with Manipur, has also introduced stringent measures to control the situation.
