SHILLONG: Representing Meghalaya on the national stage, Irene Dkhar and Dr. Tanvi Marak will vie for the Miss Grand India 2024 title, one of the country’s premier beauty pageants.
This was announced by the Meghalaya Youth Tourism Development Society and Miss Meghalaya Organisation on Friday.
While Irene Dkhar is former Miss Northeast, Miss Meghalaya, and Femina Miss India Meghalaya; Dr. Tanvi Marak is former Miss Meghalaya, Miss Sunsilk Northeast, and Femina Miss India Meghalaya.
Miss Grand India, a prestigious event organized by Glamanand Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., is recognized as one of the top three beauty pageants in India.
The grand finale will be held on August 11 at Zee Studio, Jaipur in Rajasthan where the two contestants from Meghalaya will vie for the coveted crown.

The Meghalaya Youth Tourism Development Society and Miss Meghalaya Organisation have extended their best wishes to Irene Dkhar and Dr. Tanvi Marak. The two organizations are optimistic that both the promising contestants will bring glory to Meghalaya by winning the coveted Miss Grand India title.
The winner of the contest will represent India on its international parent stage Miss Grand International 2024 scheduled for October 25, 2024.
