Meghalaya’s 6-yr-old goalkeeping prodigy earns scholarship from football academy in Punjab

SHILLONG: In a thrilling development for football enthusiasts in the Northeast, six-year-old Samborlang Rynjah, whose exceptional goalkeeping skills have mesmerised the Internet, has received a scholarship offer from the esteemed Minerva Punjab Football Academy.

Reportedly, the scholarship entails comprehensive coverage of all expenses, encompassing schooling and football-related costs for the football prodigy from Meghalaya’s Mawryngkneng village.

Additionally, the academy pledges to furnish him with top-notch training and coaching to further refine his goalkeeping skills.

Based in Chandigarh, Punjab, Minerva Punjab Football Academy is renowned for its excellence in nurturing young football talent.

Owned by football aficionado and entrepreneur Ranjit Bajaj, the academy stands as a beacon of opportunity for aspiring footballers across the nation.

The video swiftly gained traction on various social media platforms, eliciting widespread acclaim for Samborlang’s agility and unwavering determination between the goalposts.
