Shillong: The National People’s Party (NPP) received a major political boost on Saturday with more than 300 members from different political parties formally joining its ranks in the Tura and Garobadha belt of West Garo Hills.
The induction programme was held at Garobadha in the presence of senior party functionaries, including MLA Subir Marak and other NPP leaders, marking one of the largest recent political mobilisations in the region.
