SHILLONG: Canadian singer and songwriter Bryan Adams will rock India with his “So Happy It Hurts” world tour on December 10 with a concert in Meghalaya’s capital city Shillong.
This tour will take music aficionados and fans on a musical journey through the legendary rock singer’s classic hits like “Summer of ’69,” “Everything I Do (I Do It For You),” and “Run to You.”
In addition to these timeless songs, audiences will also get to hear tracks from his Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “So Happy It Hurts”.
The specific venue is yet to be announced.
The weeklong tour will start in Shillong followed by concerts in Gurugram, Mumbai and Bengaluru before concluding on December 16 in Hyderabad.
Opus Productions and Envision, in collaboration with Centre Stage and Eva Live, is organizing the tour.
Tickets will be available on Zomato Live starting August 7.
The concert is expected to be a major boost for Shillong’s tourism and economy, attracting music enthusiasts from across the country.
The multi-city India tour is an extension of the singer’s global tour (USA, UK, Europe, Canada).
This will mark the singer’s sixth visit to India after his 1993-1994 tour, followed by multi-city gigs in 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2018.
Adams has been a part of the music industry for over four decades and enjoys a global fan base.
With a catalog of 17 studio albums, his most recent songs have been the peace song “What If There Were No Sides At All” and two songs from the comedy film “Office Race”.
