Shillong: Meghalaya Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh’s official vehicle was targeted by unidentified individuals on the night of December 10, after the Bryan Adams concert at JN Stadium, Polo in Shillong.
The incident took place around 10:35 pm near Green Hills Restaurant in Polo.
A stone was reportedly thrown at the vehicle, shattering the front passenger-side window.

Although the Health Minister was not in the vehicle at the time, she usually occupies the front passenger seat, which was damaged in the attack.
The vehicle was carrying Lyngdoh’s husband, Fantin J Lakadong — an Executive Member (EM) of the KHADC — along with the driver and other relatives.

Fortunately, no one was injured. Lyngdoh was in another car traveling behind the targeted vehicle during the incident.
The Health Minister has since lodged an FIR at the Laitumkhrah police station to report the attack.
