Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma released a new biography on Hoping Stone Lyngdoh on Sunday, marking the 10th death anniversary of the revered leader.
Titled “Individual and History: A Biography of Hoping Stone Lyngdoh (1929–2015),” the book was launched at the chief minister’s residence in Shillong.
Authored by Dr. David Arnold Kharchandy, the biography chronicles the life and legacy of Lyngdoh, known for his unwavering principles, simplicity, and deep engagement with the people of Meghalaya.
Lyngdoh, who passed away in 2015, was celebrated for his long-standing dedication to public service and his influence on the state’s political landscape.

The chief minister praised Dr. Kharchandy for documenting the life of a leader who made a lasting impact on Meghalaya’s social and political fabric.
