Shillong: A day after reshuffling his cabinet, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday distributed portfolios to the newly inducted ministers of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA-II) government.
United Democratic Party (UDP) chief Metbah Lyngdoh has been entrusted with Power, Water Resources and Taxation, while his party colleague Lahkmen Rymbui will oversee Education and Revenue and Disaster Management.
Brening A Sangma has been given charge of Excise and Border Area Development, and former deputy speaker Timothy D Shira has been allotted Tourism and Agriculture.
