AMPATI: The 4th Women’s Football Tournament 2024, organized by the District Sports Office of South West Garo Hills in Meghalaya, concluded on Saturday at the Students’ Field in Ampati.
The tournament saw the participation of 8 teams from across the district, showcasing the growing enthusiasm for women’s football in the region.
In an exciting final match, Krimkro FC emerged as the champions, defeating Sister United with a decisive score of 4-0.
The tournament celebrated individual brilliance with Krimkro FC’s Khasmi M Marak being awarded the Best Player, and Bonkam Sangma receiving the Highest Scorer award.

The Best Goalkeeper title was claimed by Simchira M Sangma of Sister United for her outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the District Sports Officer of South West Garo Hills, who congratulated the teams and presented the awards.
