Ampati: As Meghalaya is gearing up for the Lok Sabha election, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday organized Workers Convention at the Betasing Farmers Market in South West Garo Hills District.
Led by Rikman G Momin, President of BJP Meghalaya, the convention saw enthusiastic participation from party members and prominent leaders.
Among the notable attendees were Bernard N Marak, Member of District Council (MDC) of South Tura, Dipul R Marak, former MDC and Chief Executive Member (CEM) of GHADC, and State Vice President of BJP.
The presence of local leaders like Boston Marak, District President of SWGH BJP, and Riya Sangma, State Vice President, further energized the gathering.
A significant highlight of the event was the joining of Winnerson D. Sangma, a former MLA, who officially became a part of the BJP in Meghalaya.
Winnerson D. Sangma’s inclusion reflects the growing strength and appeal of the party in the region, the BJP leaders claimed.
The convention provided a platform for party members to discuss key issues, strategize for the upcoming challenges, and reinforce their commitment to serving the people of Meghalaya.
With a strong presence of grassroots leaders and new additions to its ranks, the BJP in South West Garo Hills District is poised for continued growth and success.
