IMPHAL: Phranakhon Rajabhat University in Thailand and Manipur University of Culture have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), cementing their commitment to mutual growth and collaboration.
The agreement, signed between the two institutions, is poised to enhance relations and broaden cooperation across various domains, including education, research, and cultural exchange.
“This MOU marks a significant milestone in our journey towards closer ties and greater cooperation,” expressed representatives from both universities to the local press.
The scope of collaboration outlined in the MoU encompasses a diverse range of joint ventures and initiatives.
These include the development of dual degree programmes, the exchange of faculty and students, the sharing of educational resources and technology, cultural exchanges, and various other endeavours aimed at fostering mutual growth and understanding.
Situated at 9 Chaeng Watthana Road, Anusawari, Bang Khen, Bangkok, Thailand, Phranakhon Rajabhat University, representing the “First Party”, joins hands with Manipur University of Culture, located at Palace Compound (Konung Mamang), Near BOAT Imphal-East, Manipur, the “Second Party,” in this historic accord.
With the signing of this MOU, both universities pledge to work closely together, leveraging their strengths to promote academic excellence and cross-cultural understanding on a global scale.
Manipur University of Culture offers 11 courses focusing on cultural disciplines such as dance, music, sankirtana, thang-tana, theatre, and tribal studies.
Additionally, it actively engages in diverse cultural events and festivals at an international level.
