An FIR has been registered, and security has been heightened to prevent further violence, according to a statement from the Manipur Police.
The attack occurred near Mongjang village, approximately five kilometers from Churachandpur town, around 2 pm.
The ambush targeted three individuals traveling in a car, all of whom died on the spot.
