KOHIMA: The inaugural edition of the Miss Hornbill International beauty pageant is set to culminate in a spectacular grand finale on December 2 at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima, starting at 6:00 pm.
A total of 14 talented contestants from across the region and neighbouring Nepal will vie for the coveted title in a night that promises glamour, talent, and grace.
The grand finale will be graced by Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, as the special guest, adding to the allure of the event.
Miss Hornbill International holds a substantial prize purse, with the winner set to receive Rs 2 lakh, while the 1st and 2nd runners-up will pocket Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1 lakh, respectively. Subtitle winners in various categories will be awarded Rs 15,000 each.
The contestants, representing diverse regions, include Bagmita Saikia (Assam), Babli Biswakarma (Arunachal Pradesh), Vezotolu Shijoh (Nagaland), Julie Zhimomi (Nagaland), Ajano Kithan (Nagaland), Puspita Murasing (Tripura), Eileen Mercy D Nongrum (Meghalaya), Isha Lalhriatrengi (Mizoram), Manila Dhakal (Nepal), Lunsola T (Nagaland), Rachel Rimeiaka Jyrwa (Meghalaya), Tanusa Gogoi (Arunachal Pradesh), Tojir Nyori (Arunachal Pradesh), and Eulaila A Malngiang (Meghalaya).

The fashion extravaganza will be brought to life by renowned designers, including Keneisanuo Dzüvichü, Litoli Aye, Vila Pojar, George Mawblei, Rapborlang Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Aso Tsurho, Vezotolu Vadeo, and Shilpi Mishra.

The excitement is set to build further with the Introductory and Sashing Ceremony of the Miss Hornbill International semi-finalists on November 24 at imagi.LAND Kisama, 3:00 pm, with Maj. General Vikas Lakhera, IGAR (North), as the special guest.
