In a bid to foster enhance the learning ecosystem in government schools, Bharti Foundation’s Quality Support Program (QSP) has partnered with over 850 government schools across 12 states and union territories.
This initiative, dedicated to providing holistic support, has positively impacted both students and teachers, benefiting more than 3.5 lakh students and 13,000+ teachers.
The essence of QSP lies in co-scholastic approach that contributes to the overall development of students and the school environment.
The programme’s success is reflected in its ability to create a conducive learning atmosphere, enabling quality education.
A recent highlight of QSP unfolded at the district level Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) Mela in Dumka, Jharkhand.
In collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Dumka, the event became a platform for educators to showcase their creativity and prowess in crafting engaging teaching aids.
Graced by esteemed figures including Kumar Harsh, SDEO; Anurag Minz, Area Officer-Education; Ajay Kumar Gupta, Jharkhand Academic Council Member; Priyankar Pramesh, Faculty Member, DIET; and Dr Kishor Kumar, DIET, the event recognised the exceptional contributions of 12 teachers who received the Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards for designing outstanding TLMs.
These teaching aids, rooted in the everyday experiences of teachers, present innovative and straightforward solutions to make learning enjoyable and accessible for students.
The awards celebrated the dedication and creativity of educators who go beyond conventional methods to create impactful learning resources.
Among QSP’s key focus areas is strengthening school leadership and teachers’ engagement, fostering a shared vision to transform schools into dynamic centres of learning.
In Dumka, 35 partner government schools witnessed specialised training sessions for teachers, highlighting the enrichment of the learning environment through innovative teaching-learning materials.
