Wynk Music, a music streaming app known for its diverse collection and user-friendly interface, has achieved a ground-breaking milestone with over 1.7 billion streams for songs by independent artists.

This achievement underscores Wynk’s pivotal role in nurturing budding music talent and amplifying their reach across the nation.

Launched less than two years ago, Wynk Studio has emerged as a launch pad for aspiring artists, providing them with a robust platform to showcase their talent and monetise their music effectively.

“We launched Wynk Studio to empower upcoming artists with a platform to monetise their music while enriching our customers’ music experience with diverse content. Surpassing 1.7 billion streams for independent artists demonstrates our customers’ engagement and satisfaction with the content, as we continue to champion linguistic diversity. We remain dedicated to expanding opportunities and enabling more artists to build sustainable music careers,” said Amit Tripthai, Chief Marketing Officer at Bharti Airtel.

Wynk Studio stands out as a pioneering artist growth platform in India, offering personalised mentorship, extensive distribution channels, and lucrative monetisation opportunities.

Artists benefit from collaborations with major music labels, opportunities for background scores in web series and OTT platforms, live events, and more, thereby enhancing their visibility and career prospects.

To enhance discoverability, Wynk Music curates special playlists featuring songs from these emerging artists, leveraging its vast customer base to broaden their audience reach and facilitate monetization.

This approach has attracted a diverse array of independent artists from every corner of India, solving critical issues of discovery and revenue generation in the music industry.

The platform has supported over 2,000 artists to date, providing them with a creative outlet and addressing their monetisation challenges effectively.

Established artists such as Nikhita Gandhi, Vishal Dadlani, and Rahet Fateh Ali Khan have also collaborated with Wynk Studio, further validating its role in nurturing talent and promoting musical diversity.

Additionally, Wynk Music has facilitated the distribution of independent singles like Love Token by Manj Music and Anusha Dandekar, while supporting independent producers like LGF Studios for the promotion of their film Love All, featuring Kay Kay Menon and Swastika Mukherjee.
