Mumbai: Sunny Leone’s new film Kennedy had a grand screening at the prestigious Jio MAMI Film Festival, forcing the organizers to screen it again.
Kennedy was screened at The Grand Theatre in NMACC, with a 2,000-seat capacity. Tickets sold out within minutes.
And to meet the demand of the Sunny Leone fans, who were left out, the organizers have arranged second screening of Kennedy.
The special show will take place at Mumbai’s Regal Cinema on November 5, officials of the Jio MAMI Film Festival told Northeast News.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhatt in the lead roles, the movie’s screening received an overwhelming outpouring of love from the audience.
Earlier, Kennedy also received a 7 minute long standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.
Kennedy follows the life of a long-thought-to-be-dead, insomniac ex-cop who finds himself entangled in a corrupt system while seeking redemption. The film is quite a thriller with Sunny Leone’s great performance.
Sunny Leone is all set to make her Tamil film debut in Quotation Gang, where she will share the screen with esteemed actors such as Jackie Shroff, Priyamani, and Sara Arjun.
