Shillong: Music lovers in the Northeast are in for a treat as Sunburn, Asia’s premier electronic dance music (EDM) festival, launches its brand-new property—Sunburn Summer Fest—with a stellar lineup of global and homegrown talent.
The debut edition will take place in Shillong on May 10, featuring international EDM heavyweights Vini Vici, Dimitri Vegas, DubVision, and Third Party, alongside Indian stars Siana Catherine, Gary Daniel, Reuel Roy, Quills, and DJ Aedrian.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Shillong’s rolling hills, Sunburn’s Summer Fest promises a high-energy spectacle of music, art, and immersive experiences.
The festival grounds will be transformed into a vibrant, neon-lit paradise with towering palm trees, hypnotic light installations, and a multi-sensory stage design that blends music with cutting-edge visuals.
With Shillong emerging as a major hub for international live music, Sunburn’s expansion into the Northeast marks a strategic move.
The city has already played host to global sensations like Alan Walker and Afrojack, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit destination for electronic music enthusiasts.
