Actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Alizeh Agnihotri are set to star in the Hindi remake of the acclaimed French film La Famille Belier. The musical drama will be directed by Vikas Bahl.
Originally released in 2014, La Famille Belier is a French-Belgian comedy-drama directed by Eric Lartigau. The story follows a 16-year-old girl who acts as the interpreter for her deaf parents. Her world shifts when her music teacher discovers her singing talent, forcing her to choose between pursuing her dreams and staying back to support her family.
The Hindi film is most likely to go on floors between June to August.
Chaturvedi was last seen in the 2025 romance-drama Dhadak 2, where he starred alongside Tripti Dimri. Alizeh Agnihotri made her acting debut in 2023 with the heist thriller Farrey. In 2026, Chaturvedi will also be seen in a family entertainer film, directed by Vikas Bahl, alongside Jaya Bachchan and Wamiqa Gabbi.

The makers have indicated that the adaptation will remain faithful to the source material, while incorporating unique cultural elements relevant to Indian audiences.
