Yes, the buzz is that Abhishek Bachchan is part of the ensemble cast of the Salman Khan-helmed Battle of Galwan to be directed by Apporva Lakhia.
Now, what is so special about this casting? As simple as this – the common link is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Salman and Abhishek had earlier featured together in Revathy’s Phir Milenge.
Abhishek is married to Aishwarya, whose tumultuous affair with Salman has always been the toast of fans and the media.
Now, though there hasn’t been any official confirmation from the production house, a search on the website reveals that Chhota B, as Abhishek, is endearingly referred to, will be sharing screen with his wife’s ex for the first time.
In fact, the IMDB website does include Abhishek in the cast that also has Tabu and Chitrangada Singh.
Wonder why this piece of explosive news hasn’t created the buzz it was supposed to.
Battle of Galwan, based on the India-China skirmish on the borders in 200,0 will hit the floors soon and a portion of the movie will be shot in Ladakh.
Now coming to the Abhishek-Salman equation, despite the Ash factor, the two have always been cordial, exchanging pleasantries at functions.
In fact, Salman had himself stated during an interview that he holds no grudge against Abhishek, unlike Vivek Oberoi (another former boyfriend of Aishwarya), the tiff with whom stirred a massive row years back.
