Filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, with the Ranveer Singh-starrer collecting Rs 831.40 crore nett in India, according to the latest figures from the makers.
With its Day 33 earnings on Tuesday standing at Rs 5.70 crore nett, the spy-action thriller’s total India nett collection climbed to Rs 831.40 crore, placing it at the No. 1 spot among all Hindi releases to date.
The Ranveer Singh-starrer maintained its top position even in its fifth week. The film’s sustained performance has been driven by strong audience turnout and repeat viewership.
With this, Dhurandhar has also set a new record for the highest collection by any Indian film in a single language.
At the global box office, Dhurandhar has grossed Rs 1,222 crore worldwide, a notable achievement considering it has not been released in the Middle East, a key overseas market for Indian films.
Pushpa 2, the pan-India film that released in 2024, was a runaway hit with its Hindi dubbed version earning Rs 821 crore itself.
Apart from Pushpa 2’s Rs 821 crore in Hindi, Chhaava had earned Rs 601 crore in the language, while Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan had earned Rs 586 crore. Other films to earn over Rs 500 crore in Hindi include Stree 2, Gadar 2, Pathan, Animal, and Baahubali 2.

Dhurandhar stars Ranveer as Hamza, an Indian operative infiltrating the gang and terror networks of Karachi. The spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan in key roles. Part 2 will release in March 2026.
