GUWAHATI: A pageant to discover the most promising talent from across the eight Northeastern states is coming to a city near you.
The highly anticipated 13th edition of Mega Mister Northeast will have a series of auditions across the Northeast and a grand finale at ITA Machkhowa in Guwahati on March 1.
The initial audition is scheduled to take place at Agartala’s Hotel Sonar Tori on January 28, followed by subsequent auditions at prominent locations such as Kokrajhar Commerce College on January 31, Hotel Japfu in Kohima on February 3, ITA Cultural Complex in Guwahati on February 4, Hotel Vivanta in Shillong on February 10, and Nar Bahadur Bhandari College in Gangtok on February 18.
Mega Mister North East, conceptualised by fashionpreneur Abhijeet Singha, is produced by Mega Entertainment and marketed by Mega Activation.
In a pioneering step, the organisers have revolutionised pageantry by discarding the traditional concept of runners-up.
The top three contestants will jointly be crowned as Mega Mister North East 2024, highlighting equality and shared honour.
Emerging victorious from intense competition against 47 other contestants, all three winners will be rewarded with a slew of perks.
Besides a generous prize package of Rs. 50,000 each, the trio will also secure the opportunity to become brand ambassadors of Set Wet, a brand of cosmetics products for men.
Additional perks will also include travel opportunities, professional representation by Mega Entertainment, brand engagements, photo shoots, appearances at youth and fashion events, and public relations and reputation management by Life’s Purple for their reigning term.
