While Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 continues its reign as the top-grossing film of the year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has joined the ranks of top grossers in Bollywood in 2024.

The film was released in theatres on November 1. Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri’s horror comedy has taken the box office by storm. The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made box office history after entering the Rs 100-crore club in its opening weekend.

The film managed to hit the mark despite facing strong competition from Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again in theatres on Diwali.

The horror-comedy earned Rs 33.5 crore, taking the film’s total collection to Rs 106 crore on its opening weekend.

On Friday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned Rs 35.5 crore; on Saturday, it raked in Rs 37 crore. The film is the third-highest opener, after Stree 2 and Singham Again. While Stree 2 opened at Rs 55.40 crore, Singham Again’s opening figures were Rs 43.70 crore. The Kartik Aaryan-starrer also earned Rs 55.30 crore worldwide on its first day.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Rajpal Yadav in important roles.
