Rapper Kanye West, popularly known as Ye, is set to perform in India for the first time with a live concert scheduled in New Delhi this March.
The announcement was made by District by Zomato through an Instagram post on Monday, confirming that the global music icon will take the stage at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on March 29.
Tickets for the event are set to go on sale from Wednesday.
The concert is being organised by White Fox, Wizcraft and Plush Entertainment, with the organisers branding the show as more than just a performance, calling it a landmark cultural event.

Kanye West rose to global prominence in 2003 with his breakthrough single Through the Wire, followed by his debut album in 2004.
Over the years, he has built a massive international following with chart-topping tracks such as N**s in Paris, Bound 2 and Hurricane, cementing his status as one of the most influential artists in modern hip-hop.
The New Delhi concert is expected to draw large crowds, marking a major moment for India’s live music scene as the Grammy-winning artist makes his long-awaited debut in the country.
