The K-pop idol, singer, rapper, and fashion entrepreneur Jackson Wang arrived in Mumbai on June 10 for an extended visit.
He greeted his fans with a ‘namaste’ as he made his way out of the airport. Jackson is in Mumbai primarily to promote his upcoming music album ‘Magic Man 2′.
Reportedly, he will be in the country for a week as part of a multi-pronged campaign to promote his upcoming music album.
This marks the Chinese-born K-pop idol’s second visit to India. He earlier visited India to perform at one of the world’s longest-running music festivals, Lollapalooza, in 2023.
His India trip also comes right after the release of two new singles: ‘BUCK‘, his electric cross-continental collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh, and ‘Hate to Love‘, and another moody anthem that’s already making waves.
According to reports, the Korean singer will be staying in Mumbai for seven days, during which he will participate in various activities, including media interactions, podcast appearances, and digital collaborations that align with his global appeal and strong Indian fan base.
Jackson Wang is a multifaceted entertainer – rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, television host, and fashion designer – who rose to fame as a member of K-pop boy band GOT7, debuting under JYP Entertainment in 2014.
Before his entertainment career, he was a competitive sabre fencer, winning the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship and earning a place on Hong Kong’s national team.
After years in GOT7, Jackson launched his solo career through his label Team Wang, releasing his debut solo album Mirrors in 2019 and his second album Magic Man in 2022.
