After a prolonged silence, fans of Bollywood’s beloved superhero franchise, Krrish, have reason to rejoice as director Siddharth Anand has finally confirmed the much-awaited fourth instalment.
The announcement came as a response to a social media post featuring a poster of Hrithik Roshan donning his iconic Krrish avatar with the caption ‘He’s coming’.
“Yep, he is,” Anand affirmed in his tweet, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement.
Krrish, known for its blend of sci-fi, action, and Indian mythology, has been a blockbuster franchise since its inception.
Reports from a Mumbai-based tabloid had previously hinted at the relentless efforts of the father-son duo, Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan, in conceptualising a fresh narrative for the upcoming movie.
While Hrithik is currently occupied with the shooting of War 2, sources suggest that the script for Krrish 4 is nearing completion, with plans to commence filming next year.
According to insider reports, Hrithik has been dedicating his time to extensive brainstorming sessions to ensure that the storyline surpasses all expectations.
“Both Rakesh and he want to deliver a story that will exceed expectations,” a source told a national daily.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s action-packed thriller, Fighter, alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor.
With anticipation building up for Krrish 4, fans eagerly await the next chapter in this iconic superhero saga.
